Philippa Lynas was born and bred in the Barossa Valley in South Australia. After studying in New York City at the prodigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Philippa was nominated and subsequently won the 2011 Broadway's Rising Star Award where she performed at one of the oldest Broadway theatres, the New York City Town Hall. Philippa has recently returned to Australia after being based in New York for the past ten years. Over her career, Philippa has performed on some of the worlds most iconic stages, such as at Carnegie Hall, the Fox Theatre in Atlanta and Radio City Music Hall.
In 2020 she finished touring the United States as 'The Ice Queen' in Cirque Du Soleil, Cirque Dreams Holidaze. Philippa is a regular on stage at Feinstein's 54 Below where she has performed in 54 Sings Broadway's Greatest Hits for the past four years. Philippa has also travelled to 88 counties as the lead production singer on board the Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Victoria and the largest ocean liner in the world, Queen Mary 2.

In 2021 Philippa is proud to be performing in her home state of South Australia in Disco Wonderland – Dance til' Dawn, to be performed at the Gluttony Arts venue hub as a part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Produced by Release Creative, Philippa will perform alongside Paulini, Timomatic, Mark Stefanoff and Amelia Sanzo.
